Duties and Responsibilities of the Council:
Planning research and study policies that serve the fields of strategic studies, security, international relations, diplomacy, and strategic planning, and setting priorities.
Submitting scientific proposals to the University Senate regarding the establishment of postgraduate programs and studies.
Recommending the establishment of Centers of Excellence for scientific research in the center’s areas of specialization.
Approving policies for joint work between the center and peer institutions and centers inside and outside Sudan, and制定 the regulations, principles, and guidelines governing such cooperation.
Recommending the publication of research and scholarly works.
Forming specialized scientific committees that support the council in fulfilling its duties.
Recommending the organization of scientific conferences or seminars inside or outside Sudan.
Recommending the translation of scientific works.
