Establishment

In recent years, there has been significant growth in academic education alongside promising developmental progress in construction, infrastructure, and various industries. Given the close interconnection between academic knowledge (the “know why”) and technology (the “know how”)—which focuses on the optimal application of inventions to achieve desired societal outcomes—the faculty identified the following justifications for establishing technological bachelor’s programs:

a. To keep pace with global advancements in civil, electrical, and electronic engineering.
b. To benefit from international experiences and the guidelines of the Engineering and Technical Studies Committee in developing engineering programs.
c. To enable diploma holders in engineering to obtain a technological bachelor’s degree.
d. To provide an opportunity for high school graduates to earn a technological bachelor’s degree.

Vision

The Faculty of Engineering at the Technological University aims to achieve leadership in engineering education by providing distinguished programs aligned with modern technological advancements. It also seeks to graduate qualified engineering professionals capable of competing in the job market and contributing to the development of engineering and industrial sectors.
